WebFeb 24, 2016 · It looks like a typo in the 2015 manual. Thye both call for the 10 year, 150,000 mile OAT coolant (purple in color) but give different material standards. The cooling system must be flushed thoroughly and coolant types not mixed. Use softened or distilled water for a 50/50 mix. Follow the procedures in the STAR bulletin below. The passages in the heater core are very fine.
