You want smooth speakers with high wattage so there is no speaker break up. I'm sure that people who say 5150's are like a can of bees have only played one though V30's or low wattage speakers. I actually found them darker amps. I find the EVH fizzy and very bright though. I absolutely agree that the Sheffield 1200s are extremely fizzy speakers.
