Webb10 feb. 2011 · The only way to be 100% sure if the fuse blew or not is to test it with a multimeter. And if the fuse DID blow, you need to find what caused it to. Also, inverters are only there to power the CCFL backlight. So if the inverter was bad you'd at least be able to see something on the monitor if you shined a flashlight to it.
